Minimizing a PDF If You Use macOS

Handling huge files can be frustrating, especially when uploading or emailing them. Minimizing PDFs on macOS is a faster and easier way to share your data.

Files with massive storage consume a lot of space on your computer— they use up lots of Memory that you can use for storing other collections.

Luckily, there are few tricks to use your computer storage sparingly. And one way to go is compressing (or reducing the size) of the large documents.

Why You Should Reduce the Size of Your PDF Files

Most PDF users create PDF files by scanning images. Typically, documents made by scanning images take up more space; hence sharing becomes hectic.  However, minimizing a PDF file enables the following;

1. Easier And Faster Sending of Mail Files

The size of pdf file you can mail depends on the plan of your account. Minimizing a document’s size is the clever way to conveniently send a hefty file, without sweating buckets—and in a short time.

2. More Space In Your Computer

The presence of graphics and pictures in a PDF file makes it a space eater in your computer. Minimizing a PDF file size on Mac will automatically restore more space in your device. Other ways of making sure your computer has more storage are; deleting duplicate files and emptying the trash.

3. Makes a PDF file a searchable text

Shrinking a PDF doc makes it a searchable text—easy to find on the internet. For an organization, this is an advantage because the Search engine results page will be high.
